Het 1,5 kilometer lange zandstrand van Can Picafort is 20 tot 30 meter breed en wordt voor een groot deel geflankeerd door een boulevard met winkeltjes en terrasjes. De zee loopt geleidelijk af en is daarmee ook ideaal voor kinderen. Op de meeste plaatsen kun je strandbedden en parasols huren. Aan de zuidkant gaat het strand over in de jachthaven.

Waves were pretty big and came up really far onto the beach - where we were sat, stopping about a 3 feet before some of the public sun beds for hire. There are public toilets behind the life guard station and little fountains to wash your feet. Great fun for building sand castles and having a splash around.

This is a sand beach and is fairly clean. The water is great and the temperature felt just right at the end of June. There are some paid sunbeds and umbrellas available but not many so make sure to go early if you want to use them. Lots of beach bars and supermarkets available very close. Visited June 2022.
