The Crust Nor'Easter combines the tubeset of their Romanceür with the generous tire clearance of the Evasion. As Crust puts it, the Nor'Easter is, "…perfectly suited for going out for a couple of day jaunt with everything you will need for a whimsical time, but with the cushy tire clearances of an Evasion."

Matt's Nor' Easter build is slightly different than the production Nor' Easter. Crust Bombora or Crust Nor'Easter. Title says it all really. They're two totally different bikes, but are essentially designed for the same kind of terrain. On paper, I would normally pick the geometry of the Bombora, however the Nor'easter is designed with the same kind of riding in mind, (long dirt road trips), which has me curious.

A cross between Evasion and Romancer, the Crust Bikes Nor'Easter is a low-trail bike, with a slightly shorter rear end than the Romeo. It's a 1-1/8", 1x specific bike, with internal routing. The Nor'Easter comes in 4 sizes, with the two largest rolling on either 27.5+ or 29, and 26+ or 27.5 on smaller two sizes. differences: nor is slightly longer and lower. romancuer is lugged for that look. tire clearances. i don't think the tubes are the same thickness, the 4130 still feels robust but thinner than regular 4130. romancuer has a little longer trail. romancuer has a little taller head tube. the romancuer should be a little more lively.
